Fresh news has just reached zero hour thanks to the bbc all night news channel, it appears that moan meister and all round dull man Morrisey has become so pissed off with great britian not winning the eurovision song contest for so long, especially as england only came 5th from bottom last year that his 'people' are seriously in talks with the brit eurovision shows 'people' to let morrisey take the reins and take to the stage as the official contestant for the u,k contest in 2007.
this is hilarious news, so either the blokes really got a sense of humour and was only playing or hes barking mad, either way it will give us a rare chance to mock him as he performs a song called 'booma bang bang' or something like it to please the euro watchers! or maybe Morrisey might be more true to his image and sing a song of his own.
theres always the chance he may try to sing a cover song on the sly, after all morrisey first found fame as one of those 'won't give up' green ink brigade letter writers who pestered the 1970's music press with letters about how good the n.y dolls were and why they should feature them more, despite the bands demise so he could play one of their rarer tunes.
or, as he was the last lead singer of (semi)famous 1977 manchester punk band 'the nosebleeds' he could try with one of theirs.
whatever he chooses, watching the eurovision song contest with Morrisey in it will be a hoot!
