I cant believe my bad luck, twice in two weeks Ive dropped a phone down the toilet.
the first was my ultra cheap mobile phone which i can replace for £20 (I'm not buying a good one because stupid things always happen to my phones), but luckily i was able to remove the battery and chip and it worked fine when i dried it out, as if nothing had happened, if it was an expensive phone it would of broken.
and now today i have dropped the cordless phone down the pan. i still cant work out how it managed to get out of my left pocket and drop at a 160 degree right angle in to the pan instead of gravity having any effect on its falling angle, i.e, vertically towards the floor as it should of done.
so now I'm stuck at home with no way of phoning out (no credits on the pay as you go mobile) or receiving calls on the house phone, and 'she who must be obeyed' is gunna be pissed off no end when she gets home , oh and the little one will be complaining no end that she cant call her friends, god, i think i may disappear for a while!.
ho hum, life is a shit sandwich and sometimes you only have to have a nibble and others you have to eat it all, crust included.
