ever since it came to the public's attention the skinhead scene has not earned its self a reputation as the jolliest scene if you want to have a laugh, in fact it has become known as the scene to join if you want to smash gravestones, burn homes, march, fight, fight and fight again and it generally has the title of the most sour puss faced scene about.
it doesn't matter if are skins leftist or Neo-Nazi to the public, the preconceptions are the same . the redskins and skrewdriver both equally share the blame (i reckon) for the modern ideas that many people hold about skins. the redskins trotskyist ideals were just as off putting as those of the national front or 'blood and honour' in the eyes of the great unwashed.
bands have tried to inject a bit of humour into the scene before, like the brilliant 'OIZONE' who played 'oi'-ed up covers of boyzone records and the band 'HARDSKIN' who made a great LP.
the latest band to have a go is the brilliantly named 'JEWDRIVER' not only do they play some great cover versions with their own lyrics added, they also have some funny merchandise which include the ladies t-shirt with the slogan 'i suck Jew cock' as well as altering some well known skinhead images and giving them the JEWDRIVER touch.

there is also an amusing looking metal band (i assume their metal) called YIDCORE who look like rob zombie wanna Be's on the link section.
