What has happened to the four and a half million people who are on the Verge of death due to war and starvation in darfur/chad? why hasn't anyone told them that the live8 gig has already saved the world?
did they not see the emotion filled performances or hear their pain for the near dead over the radio? after all the bands that played put their all into the camera lenses on the stage so we mere mortals could see how much they care, and the big finale heralded the end of world grief to the smug satisfaction of the performers and the swaying audience, so why is this massive potential disaster still happening?
we need another gig to heal the world again! and with the emotionally Ernest care shown by the pop bands that appear to the Africans, the music can only make them put down their weapons, link arms and sway in time to the live aid bands, then all will be rosy in the African garden again. maybe the trouble happened because many of the Africans didn't have a TV to watch the live8 gig in which case they must get a big screen and video machine to gather round as they watch the likes of 'keen' sing and play with bursting emotion for the suffering of the world on a recording of the live8 gig.
and if we also 'let them know its Christmas time' then everyone will destroy their machine guns, share food and water, hug and be friends. problem solved, right bob and midge?
