Before i go any further i should explain what b.b.a.b means, b.b.a.b means 'beer bellies at back'. and by that i mean the people who go to gigs and just stand round the bar or at places like the brixton academy, and just sit on the stairs and miss every moment of every band and thus waste a whole gig not bothering to watch or listen to any bands or music.
now what is the point of paying to get into a gig only to sit where you cant see or hear the band and just snog your girl/boyfriend (you can do that at home for free) or talk shit to your mates?
they've always been there, ever since Ive been going to gigs (too long to admit) acting all priggish as if "Ive seen this band a million times before and I'm only here to be seen at the right places" or just getting pissed at the bar and acting like it was their local, hogging the bar area all night.
why do they bother to go, why don't they just go to a pub, they have longer licences, its especially sad to see loads of them monging around the bar/stairs doing nothing when gigs are sold out and there is people dieing to get into the gig who genuinely want to watch the band and not stare at a sticky floral carpet all night.
