hey man its like, the longest day of the year and the mid summer solstice man, and its also 22 years since the police attacked a group of travellers on their way to the annual Stonehenge festival.
the police drove the buses and vans in to a field and then smashed up all the 'mobile homes' and attacked women holding babies, children and anyone they could batter, despite no Resistance the police put quite a few people in hospital by battering them with riot weapons that make the traditional wooden club they once had seem like it was made of foam.
once the official orgy of violence was over the police impounded the vehicles and left many families without a place to stay, the police knew these were homes yet still took them away and after being smashed up some were unsurprisingly held to be un-road worthy, or over the top prices had to be paid to get the vehicles back that still had a use.
