I have reliable information that a charity gig in north London will be coming up who's line up includes not only the glorious U.K SUBS and other bands yet to be confirmed but THE RUTS (with a stand in vocalist of course smart arse) will be playing also, although i doubt it is the start of the band trying to blaze along the comeback trail.
tickets are on sale now but the bloke who told me forgot to tell me the venue, but there isn't many round the finsbury park/kentish town areas so it shouldn't be hard to find out where, but zero hour will post the venue as soon as possible, as its for charity the band can be forgiven for re-forming after so long (and they wont be playing as 'ruts d.c'), and it will be interesting to see who else punks up their zimmer frames and re-formes for the gig as well.
i know i will be checking it out, see you there.
