I know i went on about my 'giveaway' and how time was running out, and all that rubbish.
Well, i really was doing it to try and find out if there was really anyone outthere who would take the offer up. it wasnt so i could then take the piss out of whoever asked for it, oh no, no, the real target was the sunday times (tory crimes!), the silly sods who produced the crap 'compilation' of overplayed songs, demo's and those terrible live versions of others in the first place.
I wanted to find out if there was anyone (apart from me, who has a set all ready for framing and putting on the wall) who seriously wanted to own a 'punk' product made by the sunday times.
After all the paper did make money from punk in the 1970's by printing scare stories and lies about "the sordid world of punk" and all that shit.
So its nice to know for sure that the joke is on them 'fer proppa'!
A slap on the wrist for the boys in marketing i imagine, slow down with the hops an barley chaps and think about it a bit longer next time!
