I'm sorry i didn't post the time or venue for this gig by the re-formed RUTS until so late but the bloke who was supposed to be telling me 'forgot' (div).
Anyway, the date for the gig is Monday the 16th of July (this Monday coming- for those without a calender!) and the venue is the 'Islington academy' (no it isn't a school, but it does sound like one, especially since the government have been busy renaming colleges 'academies' recently, after all, what better way is there to spend your taxes!! (uh-oh, a bad political joke, is this the start of ZERO HOUR getting politicised? -NO!!!)
But i digress, the support bands that are playing as well are still not known to me except for the wonderful UK SUBS, but if you check out the venues website (if they have one, i don't know if they do) then I'm sure it will tell you more, or you could try the UK SUBS website, but again i don't know if they have one either, but I'm sure they do, if not they may be on 'myspace' at least.
Anyway try and make the gig, to amuse yourselves on the way you could take bets on who will sing for THE RUTS, maybe it could be that geezer who sung for THE STRANGLERS after Hugh cornball left, but i hear that he has now left the THEMENINZIMMERS' as well, and is probally on the look out for work i would imagine, but, who knows? not me!
