I know that there is a lot of fans of THE FALL out there in 'punk land' and I'm sure those fans will be pleased to hear that this month they will be playing at the London Carling academy.
They will be playing four nights from Wednesday the 17th to friday the the 20th of july, tickets are only a ball squeezing £50 for all four nights or are £15 for a single night (£50 for four nights? old crumple face must be confident! but then again they always did have a large 'underground' following).
personally i only liked a few of their songs but i do recognise their place in punk history and their refusal to confirm to the 1.2.3.4 style that was gripping most bands at the time, (A.T.V and THE SWELL MAPS being two other bands who had the same attitude to playing punk as well). but if you like them then I'm sure you will pay anything to see them because after all you never know when mark e.smith is going to pop his clogs, what with him not ever looking like the healthiest man in the street. that's all, bye.
