Well bugger me, i had a look at the venue website for this 'RUTS' Reunion charity gig and Ive found that it looks like it will be an old codgers punk gig to remember.
The gig is in aid of RUTS member Paul fox, and none other than old big mouth himself, Mr HENRY ROLLINS will be helping THE RUTS out on vocals! not bad eh?
not only that, we have a full bill that includes (as i've said before) the UK SUBS (oh joy), plus SPLODGENESSABOUNDS featuring ex-MOTORHEAD member 'WURZEL' , JOHN OTTWAY, then there's a BLOCKHEAD (johnny turnbull), plus some people called THE PRICE, and a band called THE PEAFISH HOUSE BAND featuring lee Harris, Rowland rivron and an (ex?) BUZZCOCK called tony Barber. (I'm busy sticking studs, 'D' rings, badges and badly written tip-ex slogans on my walking stick now as you are reading this).
And finally the background sounds are going to be supplied by the CLUB SKA SOUND SYSTEM.
Sadly the only info i don't have is the ticket prices and if it is sold out or not, sorry.
Now if that isn't a gig line up that will get the fat old duffers out of their comfy armchairs and away from the telly then i don't know what can, and all you young 'uns can go along and see what those old sods used to get so excited about!
I reckon that this will be one of those gigs that will be remembered for some time after, instead of one of those gigs you go to only to forget about a month later, i recommend this gig to everyone reading this, young or 'old'.

you can get to their website your selves because, (no offence to the venue) I'm not putting them on as a link on ZERO HOUR because we don't see any reason to for just for one gig, but we have given you their web address at least.
