REGGAE RAINSPLASH!! reggae/ska events review

I was all ready and willing to set off down to Brockwell park and go to the reggae music festival today, and bugger me it chucked it down about ten minutes before i was due to leave the house.
So, bugger that for a game of soldiers, i didn't go because i didn't want to stand in that fucking rain all day, so sadly i have nothing to report about the day, sorry.
i had got soaked twice as it was yesterday, and so my only joy came from when i took a stroll down portobello road yesterday and found that half of those new wanky 'trendy' shops had to close up because they were flooded out, so if you had travelled miles to go to portobello and sit at a trendy cafe 'to be seen' and have a bowl of seaweed and mung bean soup, but were not able to because of the flooding, tough fucking luck you wankers!
But back to music, my friend 'covered' THE SKA-TELLITES for me playing in finsbury park last week.
he kindly showed me a grainy photo that he had taken on his mobile phone that seemed to look like just a lot of people standing about holding musical instruments!
But i am assured that the band did a "really fucking good set man" which I'm told was full of classic tunes and included a female of undetermined age being "really good as well" (i must use this man again!)
but the only 'downer' on the day was when a large contingent of Italian skinheads started to chant "skinheads, skinheads" during the bands songs, were they crying out for attention? because I'm told they were not hard to miss! and they really didn't need to scream while people were listening to the music (so I'm told), but they were not 'sieg hiel'ing' or 'saluting' (if they were it would of been a bit odd as it was an anti racism 'festival'!) it was also good at the TROJAN SOUND SYSTEM who played on while it rained and played some top tunes (plus some that are just below the top!) and the day was trouble free.
And that is it, two reggae reviews in one, not bad for nothing eh!?!
mind you this rain isn't doing anyone any favours, even the grass, trees and rivers are saying "enough"!
P.S did you know that 'finsbury park' said backwards sounds like 'crappy rub sniff'? try it.
see, you learn new things every day.
