Just as promised i have published the information filled 'comment' that was left for the JAM UNSEEN book.
Sadly, when i said the comment was informative i was just being sarcastic because apart from the time and dates for a exhibition of JAM photo's the 'comment' ends with a dull witted remark to "go and have my eyes tested, grandad punk", ho-hum, I'm still wondering if this is supposed to be an insult because it has very convincingly been theorised that this 'insult' was sent by a person who is jealous of me because of my perceived 'being there' where as the author of the so-called 'insult' has only his (or her) backwards looking books to rely on, being too young or not yet born to have been around when the band were at their height, but that implies that I'm old and touching 50 which i certainly am not.
Besides, without the influence of older people in the punk scene (THE VIBRATORS, CHARLIE HARPER, THE STRANGLERS, IAN DURY, 999,RAMONES, DEAD BOYS, the list goes boringly on, and on) the punk scene would not be what it is. even today the influence of 'grandad' bands can be heard on the records of new bands, but then with that snobby age-ist attitude what would you know? one day you will grow up and understand.
And as Ive said before, this is not the site to go to if you are after a lame insult swapping game, there is plenty of sites out there who would welcome you, so go there and please don't come back, mind you school will be back on soon so you will have to turn off RELIC HUNTER and close the underwear section in the Argos catalogue and find a good place for that sperm encrusted sock that mum wont find, and may i suggest you pay more attention in English, that way you may be able to come up with a decent attempt at an insult and not that old lump of ham, that 'old gem' had past its sell by date 20 years ago!
so for the last time anymore 'comments' that are of the type written about above will be deleted a.s.a.p so don't waste your or my time, thank you dullard.
p.s as for having my eyes tested, i must admit that photo after photo of BRUCE FOXTON wearing that blindingly white ugly 'DIRE STRAIGHTS' style jacket did make my eyes ache, just how long did he wear that jacket for?
