I was having a look through the tons of usually rubbish stuff on 'MY SPACE' today (there is much good stuff on there as well its just buried under the rest) when i came across a band called THE NEUROPHOBICS, initially i was a bit wary because of the 'silly' photo's of the band in masks (it may be intentional, log on to them and you might find out) but i decided to give their four songs a chance, plus i liked the name.
I was quite surprised to find that they are not too bad, the singer does have that 'mid Atlantic' accent when he sings but none the less the songs are actually ok, worth a listen in fact.
So if you check out MY SPACE for them then please don't give up because of the band's photo's on the site, give their songs a listen.
The band has a touch of the 'nu' sound but they also have a 'raw' edge to them which helps to give the songs their energy, but don't trust me, i find it easier to slag off bands and songs than i do praising them (nawww!).
So give them a chance, they are a new band and everyone deserves a chance, but just the one mind!
i don't need to tell you where MY SPACE is i hope.
