SPEAKING OF RADIO4

Speaking of radio4, Saturday morning broadcast a programme about the comic 200AD on its 30th birthday.
The show was presented by comedic lard bucket PHIL JUPITUS who did a good job of evoking the hey day of the comic with quotes form 200AD and name checking characters, it is an interesting show and for me at least reminds me of reading the comic and being so impressed by the art work and the complexity of some of the longer running stories and thinking how after reading it i couldn't wait for the next weeks issue.
A geeks show to the core but one about a comic that has had a lasting influence on not only American comics but also Hollywood, and pop music and fashion to name a few places.
The show can also be listened to by logging into RADIO4'S website for the next week.
I know mentioning RADIO4 is going to get me into 'grandad' wee again but it is interesting to listen to because of the comedy shows and the way it switches to the WORLD SERVICE at night, so it can be possible to snuggle up in bed and go to sleep all relaxed while correspondent's report show after show about some genocidal massacre's and mass starvation and the torture and killings of democracy supporters going on in many places all over the world every day, very comforting as you drop off with a familiar voice coming from the radio, helps one to sleep.
