UNPLUG THE JUKEBOX

So, i read that MR ADAM ANT was going to play a live date, or was it an evening with him in front of the microphone? the ad wasn't so clear.
My first thought was that it would be a funny idea to turn up wearing one of those huge foam cowboy hats, (i didn't even entertain the cowboy guns, that would of been a 'DE-Mendez' moment for sure!) but i decided it wasn't a nice idea, plus i would probably get beaten up by a gang of angry middle aged pissed up office Sharon's with badly spread red lipstick lines smudged across their faces who would take exception to me taking the piss out of their 'timeless' teenage idol.
So would i go? what did i expect? was ADAM going to regress and play his great 1970's songs (and not in the MARCO-PIRONNI pop pap way) but in its 'trad arr' as he knows its wanted? he knows because his fan site gets 'hits' all the time asking for releases of what is known as his 'DECCA DAYS'.
But back to the live ADAM, would i go? of course not, it would probably be a painful experience and would be full of drunk office 'ya ya's' shouting for 'prince charming' while ADAM sits nervously on a stool with an acoustic guitar strumming to 'a.n.t rap'.
I would imagine ADAM's stage days are over but the 'DECCA DAYS' music can stand up to much of what is coming out now and is bloody good enough to deserve a decent proper release that can be bought for less than the silly money bootleggers ask for now.
ADAM ANT always stressed his 'one-ness' with his fan base, from early days till now still, but he has never done his fans the biggest, basic, and most asked for justice and released the DECCA DAYS at a price that is affordable.
Whats more it could open up the early ANTS up to a new audience who may even understand why there is some people who are actually brave enough to stick up for 'the old ANTS', more commonly known as "that geezer in the poxy make-up". if only it was easily available then the world would know why there is those odd-balls who wonder record markets and shops talking to anyone about ADAMS 'old days', ignoring the unlistening commentators, the giggles and the laughter, while staring into the distance while somewhere the lyrics "they call him juanito the randy bandito, see you make love to a frog" echo from a distant tower block....
grandad punk man yeah!

What a complete and utter load of wank.

You obviously have no idea what you're talking about, but it's making me laugh nonetheless.
