DAMNED HOT ROD or not

i was just out cycling and stopped at a tube station for a rest and a chocolate bar when i picked up one of those free crap newspapers, spending much of the last three weeks on the sofa with a thick blanket round me watching TV while i was ill has left me with a bit of unspent energy (don't ask me where it came from) or maybe it was just me feeling better, anyway i went out today for a cycle and ended up with me finding a hilarious newspaper called WEST END EXTRA (what an original and 'inspired' name), and as well as reading that the 'SERIOUS ORGANISED CRIME AND POLICE ACT' law that NEW LABOUR 'masters' had enacted, one that basically outlawed protesting near Parliament among its varied immoral 'acts', is to be overturned in the courts (making it legal to give the WINSTON CHURCHILL statue green grassy Mohawks once more i imagine).
But apart from that, the news inside the paper that caught my attention was a 'scoop' about one MR PAUL GREY who had been embarking on a hobby of putting spy cameras up women's skirts (a Japanese innovation I'm told), and in Trafalgar square no less (Trafalgar square!?! was he asking to get caught?), MR GREY was also planning to sell the film's on the net. MR GREY was given 6 months prison, suspended for 18 months. if it was my Mrs or mum who's bum was on film i would expect him to get 2 years at least. the sentence was reduced no doubt by the fact that MR GREY admitted 'four counts of making a public nuisance'. a worm as well as a pervert.
The only thing that interested me in the case was the mans name, PAUL GREY, was this the same PAUL GREY who went from playing with EDDIE AND THE HOT RODS to joining THE DAMNED? ( who arguably made their best albums and singles when he was with THE DAMNED at that period)? was it true? was the bassist that took the place of ALGIE WARD? (who left a cushy job to form the utterly awful failure of a N.W.O.B.H.M band called TANK. -i love that N.W.O.B.H.M bollocks, i think it is so daft, what a moniker to add on to your bands name in a review).
So anyway, with all this tittle tattle i lost what i was thinking of, and that was 'is the old DAMNED/EDDIE AND THE HOT RODS bassist a knicker loving cam corder pervert? well, i don't think so, not unless PAUL was 15 when he made his first single with the HOT RODS because the MR GREY caught is 47 years old, he's easily old enough to have been in the CORTINA'S or EATER or many bands of the time but not quite old enough for a long running PUB ROCK band, i hope.
I must admit that i am 99.99.9% positive that it isn't the same PAUL GREY as the one who was in those bands in the seventies but the fact that they had the same name gave me reason enough to take the piss.
But really, what a creepy thing to do, filming up women's skirts, i wonder what kind of woman he went for because the, how can i put it...'bigger ladies' would of been the easiest to film because there would be less chance of the lady seeing the bottom of her skirt, e'gad! the mind boggles!
