MORE POLITICS!?!

I'm sorry to get a bit political yet again but if you go on to 'youtube' and type in the words
the punk years -#5
you will get a little clip from a segment of a show that is about the left and right wing's during the late 70's, and early 1980's ( which is probally a 'pop years' type programme.).
A wistful walk along memory lane, it reminds us all just how...barbaric we were then, no satellites or mobile phones, nylon clothes and flared everything on everyone, everything painted either pooh brown or battleship grey, oh how grim it was, but fun.
If you can be bothered, the clip is only about nine odd minutes long and you can see how...'rotund' MENSI of the ANGELIC UPSTARTS has become. And of course JIMMY PURSEY is there, softly caressing his bloated ego by taking credit for just about every and anything (ignoring the fact that by 1978 his 'fans' were starting to see SHAM69 and PURSEY as a 'comedy' band (you can also see and hear him take the sole credit for the defeat of the right at that time, he has got one large ego), sadly you do have to sit through BILLY BRAGGART (who seems to have been at just about every single punk 'event' ever by the way he talks), and also that JOHN ROBB and his talking nose can be heard in the back round (where did that bloke come from? -and don't tell me he wrote a book, i know that, but so did DAN BROWN and you don't hear his voice every time punk is on the TV do you?!).
But do watch it because it is interesting and has lots of good stuff to see (from SHAM69 to CRASS).
and the BANANARAMA woman still looks OK as well! -"teenage dreams so hard to beat"....
