It looks like i was way off on the 'punk watch' matter with BLINK182 because i didn't realise how big the 'band clock' market was, it is massive and you can get most bands on a watch or alarm clock (with real pretend ringing bells) and i realise now that the band were just doing what every other band is doing in this growing market, so i am sorry for thinking that the band were exploiting young fans.
Did you know that you can get sex pistols clocks as well, really garish stuff, not what i would want to wake up to, its like a 'god save the queen' poster viewed through the eyes of someone with a migraine, i tried to get a picture of it but the company were hanging on to their (ha) 'intellectual' property. but i hope you like the GUNS AND ROSES watch complete with leather carrying case (pardon me, but isn't it supposed to be strapped to the wrist and not carried around in an 'easily lost' dinky bag?).
The clock/watch business is big 'bucks' by the looks of it in the states, i just hope i don't get a tacky RAMONES clock for Christmas, that would make my SID VICIOUS tea mug look like a work of art!
