STEVE'S NOT SO IGNORANT

It seems that all is not well in the Utopian world of certain 'prominent' anarchists at the moment who are unhappy that STEVE IGNORANT is putting on his shows that are to include many CRASS songs.
Now i don't know about you but Ive heard CRASS songs played by different bands without complaint so why cant STEVE IGNORANT play them? (other ex-members of CRASS have played them live, Ive seen it, and PENNY RIMBAUD uses CRASS imagery all the time).
The songs are not holy tracts to be revered like untouchable gospel's, people have forgotten the fact that they are ANARCHIST songs and so should be free to be played by anyone, and no-one has the right to say who can play what songs live, and no-one ever has done.
And what else are these 'fathers of the revolution' moaning about? it's because STEVE IGNORANT plans to donate some of the proceeds to the life boat association.
Now fuck me, i couldn't think of a better group to donate to, they are self financed, the work is on a volunteer basis and they go out to sea in the worst of weathers to try and stop people from drowning, often putting their life at risk as they do so, and all for the sake of helping people, they get no wage as such, are ignored by the government year after year when the money is handed out (more money is spent in one day by the government on weapons than all of their donations to the life boat association in its entire history).
Now if that isn't a righteous fucking cause to donate money to then i don't know what is.
Maybe certain people want it spent on a short lived squatted 'community center ' that will spend all its money on a failed 'stay open' campaign, or its wanted for an underground press that's dedicated to reprinting 150 year old Russian books about anarchy that prattle on about 'peasants toiling in the field's' and such outdated self righteous guff.
No, i think giving donations to a group of self financed people who are on a mission to save people from drowning in storms and such like is good enough for me, and should be good enough for them, at least the life savers are 'pro-active' and are a 'direct action' group (of the best kind)
So stop moaning you Utopians in your bubbles, you are like an anarchist version of those plastic police who watched the kids drown rather than disobey orders, jump in to the pond and save them! SHAME ON YOU.
