"fuck off you squares or i'll spit at ya!"The news has reached us today here at ZERO HOUR via the BBC NEWS24 channel that one time devoted uber punk TOYAH is going to be appearing in panto this Christmas.
Now this strikes me as a bit sad, does she need the money? or does she think people still enjoy panto's in these days of DVDS, video's, computer games, zillion channel TV and the mass marketing of sex toys.
Whatever her reason is, i think it is amusing to go from a nihilistic punk rocker to treading the boards as 'wishy washy' or what ever panto it is she is in, that is one show this family will be missing.
And to think i actually used to buy her records! (sheep farming in Barnett is a cracker), but i suppose some want to 'move on' and don't want to be the same all their lives, but panto? ye gods!
