A ZERO HOUR NON EXCLUSIVE STORY.The award for the best thrown punch of the year that was started when JOHN PRESCOTT was given a right hook by a fat man in a mullet has this year gone to the dad of AMY CRACKHOUSE. The dad, justifiably worried about the state of his little girl was happy to see her snake of a coward junkie husband go down the steps, hoping AMY might sort her self out with him out of the way, so dad was less than pleased to find out that uber junkie PETE TOTALSHAMBLES was sniffing round his 'little girl', knowing what she was going through and the lasting habit he left KATE MOSS with, he did what any caring dad would do and laid the pasty faced, spotty, soot covered indie/'new wave' icon flat on his back and told him in no certain terms what would happen if he didn't leave his 'baby' alone.
Its well known that junkies look for 'gear partners' and with Pete being alone after fucking up his relationship with one of the most desired women alive, PETE was left feeling lonely, so when AMY'S pathetic husband went down, PETE saw the perfect shooting partner and made a bee line for AMY, probably hoping she needed a shoulder to cry on and a needle or two to 'sort her out'.
But call it what you will, a dads intuition, second sight or common sense, AMY'S dad made sure the TOTALSHAMBLES waste of money wasn't going to make his child another haggard smack/crack causality (anymore than she already is).
I have to admit that i don't care for AMY'S music but i can recognise talent, and given the chance she has lots of it in her still, but throwing it all away for drugs at her age would be a waste of a lucky life and would rob her of her talent, and her mind (crack is one war that cannot ever be won, no matter how hard the personality is), something we don't all have (talent i mean, not minds), which is why i get pissed off when i see her flaunting her 'track marks' while wearing short sleeved tops when she knows she is going to be photoed.
Does she think she looks 'cool' or 'rebellious? and does she realise that most people are contemptuous of what she is doing to herself? And as for me? well, i think its up to her what she does to herself as long as it doesn't affect those round her, that's when BETTY FORD is needed, and boy does AMY need the loving embrace of ol' mama BETTY now!.
