BLITZ GUITARIST DEAD

BLITZ guitarist dead.

Guitarist and one of the original members of the pioneering OI band BLITZ, MR 'NIDGE MILLER' is no longer with us.

The 'mustachioed' founding member who had recently taken a new line up of the band on the road again just before he died in February of 2007 was hit by a car while in Austin Texas as he strolled across a 'freeway' pissed and was said to have died on impact, blessing him with a quick painless death.

Although NIDGE'S death happened almost a year ago it is sad that the death wasn't more widely reported (which is why i just found out -by mistake) because BLITZ were one of the best and most original sounding bands of the early 1980's punk scene.
