MR LYDON SNR R.I.P.

JOHN LYDON'S dad died yesterday at the age of 74, not a bad innings but still not a happy occasion for the family i would imagine.
During LYDON jr's days in the SEX PISTOLS when he was 'JOHNNY ROTTEN', LYDON snr wasnt as understanding as his wife regarding his sons 'career' and stayed mostly silent about the whole 'PISTOLS' 'ballyhoo' but stuck by him anyway, where as mrs LYDON was happy to stick up for her son in newspaper and TV interviews, maybe he was shyer about going on telly or in the papers (or scared his mates would take the piss down the pub -who knows?).
Not knowing much about the man, all i can say with certainty is that and he had an old mans big ears (my grandad got big ears as he grew older as well, huge they got), well they looked big in a photo of the man i saw recently, anyway r.i.p JOHNNY ROTTENS dad (sounds odd dont it!?).
P.S i did this yesterday (wednesday) but it appeared thursday because of an 'outage' in the hoster. its hard to get things out at the moment, the 'outage' (what a fucking word, who made that up?) was sposed to be one day but it seems to be dragging on a bit and the 'warning' not to blog is still up and ive lost two articles so far, (hooray!), sorry but hopefully tomorrow i can do more (even the spell checker wont work -not that i need it, oh no).
