OOPS!

Whoops-a-daisy, i told you there was something up with the blogger lot yesterday because the post for the 1970's show that was on at 10pm last night didn't actually come up until the programme actually started, sorry about that.
But for all those who missed it, it was an OK show with lots of good clips from many different bands, and included a young pre-MOTORHEAD LEMMY singing his warts off to 'silver machine' while he served time with HAWKWIND.
Although the 1980's saw punk records out selling many who were in the number one position in the 'top of the pops chart' i doubt we will see much punk there in the next 1980's instalment of the show (a good example is DISCHARGE regularly out selling the number ones of the day but not being placed in the charts because they were not sold in 'chart listing' shops like Woolworth's and hmv).
