There has been more punk music on TV lately, two STIFF LITTLE FINGERS songs were featured on the uber geek show 'brainiac' (johnny was, bloody Sunday), the STRANGLERS 'no more heroes' was the music for a channel's 'heroes film season, THE UNDERTONES 'here comes the summer' has been used yet again for incidental music over holiday show adverts, THE REZILLO'S 'top of the pops' has been used predictably behind those 'nostalgia' pop shows and MOTORHEADS 'ace of spades' is played on kids shows when its time to throw things at each other (which is probably the nearest to being in context out of all the songs).
