what punk site is complete without a rolling stones slag-off?

Why oh why oh why do people still rave about the ROLLING STONES as if they are still capable of making an all-right record when they haven't made an even half decent noise in almost forty years?
And why there has been a film made about them now i just don't understand, its not like they have just released yet another blindingly great LP, not even an o.k single has come from the band in recent memory so why all the public grovelling now?

I really am at a loss to understand all this hero worship (Plus, if i looked anything like KEITH RICHARDS i would expect to be barred from leaving the house in case i scared pets and small children! He really is one fuck of a frightening sight).
The STONES have now been 'on the road' trotting out their aged 'greatest hits' for many years now and yet they still have not been able to come up with a single new song that is capable of grabbing the ears of the 'record buying public', and yet despite this they are still lauded as 'the greatest rock'n'roll band on earth', eh? have i missed something, if i did i wasn't there when i missed it.
And apart from all that, why has there been a film made about them now? What have they done recently that would deserve all the attention? The situation reminds me of that walking plastic tit JORDAN and her latest 'autobiography', she has just released her third in three years, like the new STONES film i have to ask why? Ego rubbing self gratification is the only reason that i can think of, and the bands smug old faces at the film premier would seem to support my 'theory'.
P.S, TO BE HONEST I COULDNT CARE LESS ABOUT THEM OR THEIR FANS, AND DONT GIVE A TOSS IF THEY WANT TO SPEND THEIR MUSICAL LIVES IN SUCH A NARROW WAY. IF PEOPLE WANT TO KEEP ON HEARING AND PLAYING THE SAME SONGS FOR FORTY YEARS ITS UP TO THEM AS FAR AS I CONCERNED (who said 'SEX PISTOLS'?). THEY DONT LIVE IN THE SAME UNIVERSE AS ME SO I DONT HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THEM, APART FROM CATCHING THE ODD GLANCE AT THER FACES (WHICH IS ENOUGH), I FEEL NOTHING.
