I was flicking through the multitude of rubbish satellite TV channels (looking for diagnosis murder) when i came across a BILLY IDOL programme on the 'biography channel' and i knew the moment i read the "the punk rocker with his trademark blond Mohawk and his aggressive lip snarl....blah blah blah" advertising bumf that this was going to be one shit programme.

The show opened up naturally enough with BILL'S pre-solo career with GENERATION X, but open with GEN X is about all it did, considering that the importance the band had on his life and career you would of thought three minutes was too short but no, the bands split and BILLY'S move to America and his solo beginnings are swished over so that he programme can get on to showing WILLY'S bare chested 'cyber punk-lite' video's.
That's then i turned off, but not before hearing how WILLIAM not only sang rock'n'roll but also lived the life, yawn.
