A few years ago i went to one of those three day mega concerts featuring six hundred bands etc etc at morcome, the one where the COCKNEY REJECTS were supposed to play but cancelled after they had just played in London in support at the MORRISEY south bank ego-fest, ("we have new fans now"), anyway i was backstage in none other than the PORK DUKES dressing room and to be honest i was a bit bored, so i decided to ask the 'DUKES' what was probably the deepest question they had ever been asked in their or any other bands history, namely "are you proud of writing all those songs about pooh and wanking?"

According to the bands website they formed after they met while 'acting' on the truly dreadful comedy show 'hi-de-hi', if that was me i wouldn't tell anyone ever.
Saying that they were nice people, shame.
