LYDON right, "I WANT TO BEEE BUTTERRRYYYY".(i am soo funny)
The Internet is full of people bemoaning the so called 'death of punk' and gnashing their teeth at the treason committed by JOHN LYDON and his butter advert, one website has even been seriously asking "is this the end of punk?" get a grip for fucks sake.
When questioned about the advert LYDON replied "people know that i only do things that i want to or believe in". Believe in? a touch pompous if you ask me.
The advert will make absolutely no difference except to LYDON who can now stop asking his aged heiress wife for fags'n'beer money for a while.
It's funnier to watch than KEITH ALLEN'S anti-LYDON/butter ad mockney 'protest song' (see YouTube), saying that, the ad has begun to irritate me and disturb my 'feet up day off afternoon TV watching' habit, (how dare anyone disrupt the masterful DIAGNOSIS MURDER! ).
