SPIZZENERGI REFORM (beam me up scotty, please).

THE WHOLE EPISODE IS QUITE IRRATIONAL CAPTAIN.

This whole 'pumping life into long dead bands' thing is getting silly now (actually it has been for some time), the bands are reforming faster than i can think of their names, the latest is SPIZZENERGI, they are playing this week and are about to tour, who is financing all these bands and why? who is next? THE DUGGIE BRIGGS BAND?, LEYTON BUZZARDS? (everybody salsa!), HAGAR THE WOMB?
I really want to know who is financing all these bands, you cant really blame the group members for doing it though, after all who would say no to a bundle of money in return for reliving their youth briefly, going on stage, having audiences 'big up' the old ego and the possibility of a shag from a young nymph?
The only down side is that with all these old men jumping about (when possible, arthritis not withstanding) it makes it look like one of those 1960's variety shows, how long before these events meld into the touring variety shows put on by bands such as THE SWINGING BLUE JEANS? it wont be long before the nostalgia gravy train takes them all for a ride to yesteryear where all old bands reside in warm fuzzy adulation long after their sell by date.
The whole thing is starting to become embarrassing.
