The recent UK SUBS gig at the opening night of a new north London club didn't go too well the other week. Among the more notable things that went wrong that night were the monitors that didn't work which led poor old CHARLIE to leave the stage at one point after he had sung (is that the right word?) him self hoarse, then there was the over zealous staff who rubbed everyone up the wrong way with their attitude and, at the end of the gig almost as soon as the UK SUBS had left the stage the audience were herded out as if a large incendiary device was about to go off and the bomb squad were stuck on the Birmingham bull ring in a traffic jam.
Not the best way to open up a new venue.
